This clean 2002 Porsche Boxster Roadster S with only 62,435 Miles was dropped off because there was rattling noise from the engine. We first checked for faults with our computer scanner and then drained the oil to inspect the oil filter to diagnose the engine noise. We discovered metal flakes which confirmed that there is internal damage and the engine will need to rebuilt or replaced. To ensure that this Boxster perform as reliably as possible, we swapped in a freshly rebuilt crate engine from Vision Motorsports with upgraded components and an IMS bearing kit installed.
